CD Remixing with a Pencil

CD Remixing with a Pencil

Matthew Falla is a london based designer whose work merges graphic and interaction design to create a variety of interesting projects. One of his stand out works is the 'CD sequencer', a unique new concept for CD packaging. The design creates an interactive system by which users can remix and alter music printed using conductive ink. The system comes with a cardboard packaging, enhanced audio cd and a set of printed music cards, reminiscent of punch cards. By drawing on the cards with a pencil the user can play with the music, interacting with it as if it were a piece of software. See a video of the product in use on falla's website.
