Herman Miller has always paid close attention to ergonomics in their office furniture. Their new 'Embody' desk chair is said to keep sitters healthier than any other chair. On the seat and back, plastic ‘bones’ zigzag back and forth to cradle the user. The design was developed to translate how the human body moves into a chair. The final design looks like a human spine and tested extremely well in lab research. Like Herman Miller’s previous blockbuster chair ‘Aeron’, ‘Embody’ comes with a hefty price tag starting at 1,495 USD.
