Hinted as the next evolution in immersive gaming technology, the
icocoon allows players to literally walk into the game. The design concept is a sphere shaped pod with an interior covered in display screens and surround sound. Gamers can use gestures to play games or perform other tasks thanks to motion capture cameras. Even walking can be sensed by the cocoon and used to control the activity. While the cocoon is still a concept, the ideas could soon be cropping up in other gamming products.
