Esquire made history with their October issue by placing a small e-ink panel on the front cover. The magazine printed 99,000 special copies of the issue which flashed a variety of different headlines. While e-ink papers may be far away on a mass level, this is most likely the first time many people have seen let alone held this advanced technology.
