Recycled Mobile Phone Concept

Earlier this year, Nokia presented a new phone concept that addressed issues of sustainability. The 'Remade' concept was designed to be made completely with recycled materials. The main body of the phone is made from aluminum cans, while plastic bottles have been recycled to form the structure. The buttons are made from old car tires and the chips inside are made using more sustainable processes. Overall, steps were taken to minimize the use of natural resources, while also reducing landfill waster and being more energy efficient. Although just a prototype, the concept could slowly be integrated into phones of the future, however it still has a while to go.
