From black and white to colour and now HD. Televisions have become more like reality with every generation. Now researchers believe 3-D- holographic televisions will be on the market in the not too distant future. Forget the coloured glasses these televisions will appear to look three-dimensional with the naked eye. While the research is only in preliminary stages, researcher have discovered a way to update a holographic image several times a second. This is of great interest to the Japanese Communication Ministry who set a goal to have holographic television by 2020. So it will be a while before your brand new TV is out of date.
