‘Triops’ is a product by German designer Franziska Faoro. The device is a triple lens camera with a simple and robust design. It reacts to sound, motion or manual triggers and takes three pictures that can be assembled into a panorama or show three angles of the same event. To take a picture all you have to do is adjust the setting and throw ‘Triops’ in the air. While this may not be the most practical camera it is a new way to take pictures and also an interesting study in simple interfaces.
