The Aqueduct Concept Vehicle
The Aqueduct Concept Vehicle was created by IDEO for people living without access to clean drinking water. The tricycle design aims to recreate the water transportation powers of the ancient aqueducts, however it goes one step further by also purifying the water. The vehicle is filled in the back and then the water is pumped through a purification system as the user pedals. The water then comes out clean into a small jug that holds 8 litres of liquid. The vehicle is still only a concept but for those without access to clean drinking water this idea could prove indispensable.
