What the movie theatre sound experience at home, but don’t have room for a theatre’s worth of speakers? Well Mitsubishi has devised a new television line which manages to create a “surround-sound” experience with its 16 built-in speakers. The technology is called “ISP” or “Integrated Sound Projector”. Simply calibrate the television to your room and the speakers will do the rest, blasting out sound customized to your environment. At the rate technology is progressing, the television itself may be redundant in a few years.
