Maglev, or magnetically levitating trains have been around since the mid-eighties.
This state-of-the-art technology uses large magnets to propels trains at speeds well
over 500 km/h. Designer Matú Procháczka has taken this technology and has
applied it to his new vehicle concept. The car works through an electric engine which
powers magnets that drive the vehicle. Don’t expect to be driving this car in the near
future, harnessing this technology at a consumer level will be very far away.
Further more the car would require that the entire automotive infrastructure be
magnetized.
